My Name is Rob Marks i am a former National 100m/200m sprinter.
I have been coaching for 8 years.
We have a great young and upcoming squad with plenty of national medallist, state champions and state medallist. The squads ability does range from beginner to advanced.
we concentrate on all aspects of what is required to be a good runner. Our training incorporates endurance, speed endurance, pure speed, aerobic and anaerobic running.
I place alot of emphasis on athlete strength, with such a young developing squad it is mainly bodyweight strength and alot of single leg strength work along with, core and back strength. Strength is vital to increase efficient technique, increase power and enduance along with decreasing the chance of injury.
The squad also follows a strict recovery process which ensures they cooldown stretch, foam roll, trigger point, muscle release to ensure they recovery and at their best for the next session.
