At Diamond Creek Runners we can guide you through our Start to Run programme and if you like, we can help you to participate in Recreational running events. I am a part of a coaching panel and our 500+ members are regulars at Run Melbourne, Run for the Kids, Melbourne Marathon with distances from 5 to 42km. DCR are also well represented at Two Bays, Rollercoaster and Surf Cost trail runs. So if you want to run further, faster, try out trails, be with like minded people where no one is too old or too slow then contact DCR at http://www.diamondcreekrunners.org.au/ We have training sessions at Marngrook Oval, Diamond Creek on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7pm and organised weekend distance runs.
If you want to challenge yourself and compete on the track or in the field then contact DVAC at http://www.valleyaths.org/ . We have an experienced and rounded team of coaches at DVAC where I help to coach our juniors for middle and long distance events. Events start from 100m sprints upwards as well as field events including jumps and throws. We have 2 season in which we compete. During summer we compete in the Shield competition and in Winter we compete in the Cross Country competition. If you want to take the next step in your athletic performance contact us. On Monday and Wednesday nights I hold dedicated sessions at Willinda Park for runners who feel they have plateaued and want to breakthrough to achieve faster times or run longer distances.
